Inside Sales Coordinator

Job Summary

The role of Inside Sales Coordinator is that of a motivated, driven, results-producing individual, who can focus on multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver results against specific business requirements which will carry demanding timelines. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to use a CRM and have Microsoft Office proficiency. The successful candidate must be able to pay attention to detail while grasping the overall business objectives and demonstrate a willingness to learn as the role requires.  It is important that the Inside Sales Coordinator demonstrates initiative to work independently and knows how be a productive team player who has an ardent desire to help the sales team succeed.  The Inside Sales Coordinator will be responsible for Sales Administration which includes, but is not limited to, maintaining customer accounts and generating new business through cold calling, to expand JP Marshall’s reach and assist in the meeting of the Sales team quota.

Key Result Areas/ Main Tasks

  • Qualify and nurture opportunities until further sales involvement is appropriate
  • Perform monitoring functions as it relates to opportunities and their updates (walking opportunities through the pipeline via CRM ensuring a smooth process)
  • Support the Sales team with any activity that will generate pipeline growth
  • Act as backup support for the Sales Manager and sales teams as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Prepare quotes for RFPs, RFI’s and RFQ’s and ensure the best price is accessed
  • Liaise with partners and vendors regarding pricing and in an effort to better understand products and solutions being offered
  • Organise and Coordinate internal sales processes to facilitate the overall sales functions
  • Function as a backup to the Logistics Coordinator
